Planning, design, supply, installation and maintenance sit inside the same company. That is deliberate: it is what lets us hold the standard, and it is why there is only ever one number for you to call when something needs attention.
Questions
As a working rule, about 100 square feet of shadow-free roof per kilowatt. A 3 kW home system therefore wants roughly 300 square feet that stays clear of water tanks, parapets and tree shade through the day. Our survey engineer measures the usable area and the shading before we quote.
For a typical home rooftop system, the physical installation runs to two or three days once the material is on site. Larger commercial plants are scheduled against the roof area and the electrical work involved. We give you a dated plan before we start.
They keep generating, at a reduced output, because panels respond to daylight rather than direct sun alone. Annual sizing already accounts for the cloudy months, which is why we size against your yearly consumption rather than a single good day.
Very little. Panels need washing down every few weeks in a dusty location, and the inverter and connections want an annual check. We handle maintenance for the systems we install, and can take on systems fitted by others too.
In many cases, yes. Our solar power plants are designed for optimum performance with fully automated operation and make a sound replacement for a diesel genset, particularly on rooftops, at remote equipment sites, telecom towers and cold chains. The right answer depends on your load pattern, which is what the survey establishes.
